About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory and product placement, and build relationships with local store teams. You are responsible for Hallmark displays and may occasionally work with products from other companies. The role includes routine merchandising, seasonal holiday support, department resets and installations, and assisting other merchandisers in their territories.

The schedule varies during the work week and averages 8–12 hours per week. Additional days and extended hours may be needed around major holidays and during season changeovers, installations, and inventory support. Availability the week before and after major holidays, potentially including weekends, is required. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department at assigned stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and optimize product placement in collaboration with store teams.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communication with a supervisor, time reporting, feedback, surveys, and merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional service around seasonal holidays, which may include extra workdays and extended hours.
• Support installations and department resets, including building and installing fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in their territories as needed.
