About The Position

The Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to maintain Hallmark product displays and inventory, optimize product placement, and build relationships with store teams. The role includes routine merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and occasional department resets and installations. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work and communication, and may sometimes work with products from other companies in serviced stores. This is a part-time position averaging 1–3 hours per week, with a variable work-week schedule and additional hours around holidays and seasonal projects.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory in and outside the Hallmark department at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and optimize product placement in collaboration with store teams.
• Use a mobile device for daily merchandising tasks, communication with a supervisor, time reporting, feedback, and required activity surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional support before and after major holidays, including potentially working extended hours, weekends, or the holiday itself.
• Participate in seasonal department resets, installations, fixture assembly, relocation of card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support fellow merchandisers in other territories when needed.
