About The Position

The Cashier interacts with customers as they enter and leave the retail store. The primary function is to provide excellent customer service and accurately process customer transactions. The schedule varies and includes days, evenings until 9 p.m., and rotating weekend and holiday coverage. The rate of pay is $14 and up, depending on experience.

The role is performed in a retail store environment with cold and warm conditions and an irregular work schedule. The job requires frequent lifting of up to 25 pounds, long periods of standing, and frequent bending and twisting. Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering the retail store and assist with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle them appropriately.
• Process customer transactions using the KCX cash register system.
• Handle cash accurately.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Handle customer returns.
