About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you will work independently in assigned retail stores to maintain and showcase Hallmark products, build relationships with store teams, and represent Hallmark. The work averages 2–3 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. You will service Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores, and may occasionally work with other companies’ products in stores you service. The role includes routine merchandising, extra support around seasonal demand, and participation in department installations and resets. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Starting pay is $16.80–$18.80 per hour, depending on skills and experience; eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

You will work on selling floors and in stockrooms. The position is physically demanding and requires frequent movement and handling of merchandise and fixtures. Availability the week before and after major holidays, potentially including weekends, is required, as is availability for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Able to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department at assigned stores.
• Maintain responsibility for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work, communication with a supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional service around holidays, which may involve extra days, extended hours, or work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
• Participate in department installations and resets, including building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
• Support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory activities.
