About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory, and build relationships with store teams. The role involves servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores, with responsibility for the complete Hallmark product display at assigned locations. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for daily work and communication, and may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores they service. Work includes day-to-day restocking, organizing, and monitoring inventory; additional support around holidays; and, when needed, team assignments for installations and department resets. The position has a variable schedule during the work week and averages 16–20 hours per week. Holiday periods can bring additional workdays and extended hours, and some holiday or remodel work may occur on weekends or evenings. The role is physically demanding and requires frequent movement of merchandise and fixtures, working both on the sales floor and in back stockrooms. Hallmark provides paid training through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Starting pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled for fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.
