As a part-time Merchandiser, you will independently service Hallmark departments in assigned retail stores, using organization and time-management skills while building retailer relationships and representing Hallmark. You will work with local store teams to improve product placement, maintain inventory, and support seasonal resets and installations. You may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores you service. The work includes routine merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets. Routine work involves restocking, organizing, and monitoring Hallmark products and displays, using a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work tasks and communication. Holiday periods may bring additional workdays and extended hours, and some holidays may require work on the holiday itself. Reset assignments may include installing fixtures, relocating departments and products, and resetting card sections; remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks ahead. Merchandisers may also support colleagues in other territories. This is a physically demanding position performed on retail sales floors and in stockrooms. The schedule is variable during the work week and averages 8–20 hours weekly. Availability around major holidays and for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support is required. Starting pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid training, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees scheduled fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.
