About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to maintain and showcase Hallmark products and displays. You collaborate with store teams, manage inventory and product placement, and support seasonal resets and installations. Work takes place on selling floors and in back stockrooms, and may occasionally involve products from other companies. The role averages 9–12 hours per week on a variable schedule, with additional days or extended hours around major holidays and seasonal changes. Pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour depending on skills and experience. Hallmark provides paid training, and eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to operate a digital hand-held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside Hallmark departments at assigned stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device to perform daily work, communicate with a supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and complete surveys for required merchandising activities.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional support around holidays, including extended hours and, on some occasions, work on the holiday itself.
• Participate in seasonal changeovers, installations, inventory support, and department resets.
• Build and install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections as needed.
• Support fellow merchandisers in other territories when needed.
