About The Position

The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to present Hallmark products, maintain inventory, and build relationships with store teams. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, seasonal holiday support, and department resets or installations. Merchandisers may also support other team members in their territories and may occasionally work with other companies’ products in the stores they service. The position is part-time, averaging 12–20 hours per week, with a variable schedule during the work week. Additional days or extended hours may be needed around major holidays and during season changeovers, installations, and inventory support. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evenings or weekends. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in stockrooms and is physically demanding. Merchandisers use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communications. Starting pay is $16.00–$17.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through live, hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible part-time employees may access voluntary benefits.
