The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to maintain and showcase Hallmark products, manage inventory, and build relationships with store teams. The role includes restocking, organizing, and monitoring products; communicating with a supervisor and completing required merchandising activities using a Hallmark-provided mobile device; and interacting professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Merchandisers are responsible for the Hallmark product displays in their assigned stores and may occasionally work with other companies’ products. The position also supports seasonal demand, including additional workdays and extended hours around major holidays. On some occasions, work may be required on the holiday itself, including weekends. Merchandisers may assist with department resets and installations, such as building or installing fixtures, relocating card departments or products, and resetting card sections. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance and may involve evening or weekend work. Team members may also support other merchandisers in their territories as needed. This is a part-time role with a variable workweek schedule and an average of 9–12 hours per week. Starting pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases, and part-time employees working fewer than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits.
