The Hallmark Merchandiser works independently in assigned retail stores to showcase Hallmark products, maintain inventory, optimize product placement, and build relationships with store teams. The role includes servicing Hallmark departments in grocery, drug, department, and mass-retail stores, with occasional work involving other companies’ products. Merchandisers represent Hallmark and may support fellow team members in other territories. The position is part-time, averaging 7–11 hours per week on a variable schedule during the work week. Work hours and days may increase around holidays and during seasonal changeovers, installations, extended services, and inventory support. Starting pay is $13.50–$15.50 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training. Eligible part-time employees have access to voluntary benefits; eligible employees also receive annual pay increases. The work takes place on retail selling floors and in back stockrooms and is physically demanding. The merchandiser uses a Hallmark-provided mobile device for merchandising tasks and communications. Applicants must have reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores, as well as access to Wi-Fi and the internet.
