About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you work independently in assigned retail stores to showcase organization and time-management skills, build retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory, and may support coworkers with seasonal resets and installations. On occasion, you may work with other companies’ products in the stores you service. You perform service work in Hallmark departments at grocery, drug, department, and mass retail stores. Using a Hallmark-provided mobile device, you restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products and displays, report time, communicate with your supervisor, provide feedback, and complete required merchandising surveys. Courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is important. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores. The role includes additional work around seasonal demand and major holidays, including extra days or extended hours. Some holiday work may occur on the holiday itself, including weekends. You may also join teams for department resets, fixture installation, product relocation, and remodeling assignments, which may take place in evenings or on weekends. Remodel assignments are typically communicated two weeks in advance. Merchandisers may support other team members in their territories as needed. This is a physically demanding role involving work on sales floors and in back stockrooms. It requires frequent movement and handling of merchandise and fixtures, along with kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and potentially climbing stairs or step ladders. The position offers $17.00–$19.00 per hour depending on skills and experience, paid hands-on and virtual training, and voluntary benefits for eligible part-time employees. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. The variable work-week schedule averages 8–10 hours per week, with availability needed around major holidays and for seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
