About The Position

As a part-time Merchandiser, you independently service Hallmark departments in retail stores, using organization and time-management skills to maintain product displays and build relationships with local store teams. You are responsible for the Hallmark product display at assigned stores and may occasionally work with other companies’ products. The position has a variable work-week schedule averaging 10–12 hours per week. The role includes day-to-day merchandising, additional support around seasonal holidays, and occasional department resets and installations. Paid training is provided through hands-on instruction and virtual classroom training.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be able to read, write, and understand English.
• Be able to frequently grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to operate a digital handheld device to open and read documents and interpret information.
• Have access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
• Have consistent transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
• Be available during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends.
• Be available to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

Responsibilities

• Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside Hallmark departments at assigned retail stores.
• Maintain the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores and optimize product placement in collaboration with store teams.
• Use a Hallmark-provided mobile device for work activities and communication, including reporting time, providing feedback, and completing surveys.
• Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers.
• Provide additional days and extended hours around seasonal holidays; work on certain holidays or weekends when required.
• Support seasonal changeovers, installations, extended services, and inventory activities.
• Build and install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments and products, and reset card sections as part of department reset teams.
• Support other merchandisers in their territories as needed.
