Hair Stylist - Logan Valley Mall
About The Position
JCPenney Salon is seeking a hair stylist to provide professional styling services and create a superior client experience. The stylist determines clients’ needs and provides services such as current haircuts, finishing, and chemical services. The role calls for professionals who listen to clients, understand their expectations, and respond in a timely fashion while building relationships and partnering with salon team members. Compensation includes an hourly pay range of $11.00 to $16.00, with commission opportunities based on credential level, sales, and productivity. Stylists may set their own service pricing and may earn 50–70% commission on service sales and 10% retail commission when a service is provided. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a bonus of up to $1,000. Benefits and other offerings may depend on eligibility.
Requirements
- Maintain a current cosmetology license in the state of application.
- Demonstrate self-motivation, flexibility, and a passion for the beauty industry.
- Have the ability to build a client base and partner with salon team members.
- Have strong people skills.
- Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making that supports sales, profit, or customer service.
- Provide great customer service, cooperate with others, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
