About The Position

JCPenney Salon is seeking a Hair Stylist to provide professional styling services and create a superior client experience. The stylist determines clients’ needs and provides services including current haircuts, finishing, and chemical services. The role involves listening and interacting with clients, responding to their expectations, building a client base, and partnering with salon team members in a learning-focused environment. Compensation includes service-sales commission of 50–70%, based on credential level, sales, and productivity, plus 10% retail commission when associated with a service. Stylists may set their own service pricing. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a bonus of up to $1,000. The listed pay range is USD $15.00–$16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Maintain a current cosmetology license in the state where applying.
