About The Position
At JCPenney Salon, Hair Stylists provide professional styling services and work to create an exceptional experience for clients. They determine each client’s needs and provide services including current cuts, finishing, and chemical services. Stylists are expected to build relationships with clients, respond to their expectations, and contribute to a collaborative salon team and learning environment. Compensation includes a listed pay rate of $17.13 per hour, with service commission that varies according to credential level, sales, and productivity. The posting also describes service-based commission of 50–70%, retail commission when providing a service, and a potential bonus for qualified candidates. Some commission and bonus details apply only to specified designer levels or eligible candidates. The role is at the JCPenney Salon in Alderwood Mall. Requirements
- Maintain a current cosmetology license in the state where applying.
