About The Position

Gym Attendants maintain a clean and safe workout environment and provide customer service to gym members and guests. The role includes setting up and tearing down rentals, such as volleyball, basketball, and pickleball, and assisting with fitness and athletic activities. This position is open until filled, with applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Candidates are subject to a comprehensive background check and drug screening; employment is contingent upon successfully completing these checks.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Be reliable and punctual.
• Be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to lift and/or move over 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Be able to perform work functions with minimal supervision.
• Successfully complete a comprehensive background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure fitness and gymnasium areas are clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with member inquiries.
• Ensure guests adhere to department and facility policies.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety issues to management.
• Assist fitness instructors and personal trainers with class setups and equipment needs.
• Foster a welcoming and motivating atmosphere for members.
• Assist with fitness and athletic events as needed.
• Set up and tear down rentals, including volleyball, basketball, and pickleball.
