About The Position

The Gym Attendant is a professional, diplomatic, and friendly person responsible for supervising gym activities, preparing and setting up athletic programs, and assisting patrons as needed. This is a year-round, part-time position at the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center in Tinley Park, Illinois, with 15–18 hours per week during evening and occasional weekend shifts. The position pays $15.50 per hour at the starting rate.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
• Good decision-making and leadership skills.
• CPR certification or the ability to obtain CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise gym activities.
• Prepare and set up athletic programs.
• Assist patrons as needed.
