About The Position

PureGym is seeking a Gym Manager to lead and inspire a team of fitness professionals and create an exceptional member experience while maintaining first-class standards. The role is focused on making the club a great place to work and work out, and ensuring that policies and procedures are consistently followed. The Gym Manager is responsible for the club’s performance, member and ancillary revenue, personal training revenue, sales, service, cleanliness, and team development. The position reports to a Cluster Manager and manages a team at the club, while collaborating with other Gym Managers in the cluster to improve performance across the area.

Requirements

Previous management experience.
Passion for fitness and wellbeing.
Passion for supporting people to reach their full potential.
Strong team-player skills and ability to work closely with the Assistant Gym Manager.
Ability to recruit Personal Trainers and Gym Floor Associates and find new ways to attract talent.
Excellent time-management, organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
Ability to successfully obtain CPR/AED certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Drive gym performance by reviewing operational details, setting improvement action plans, and ensuring a safe and legal environment.
Increase member count and ancillary business revenue to meet and exceed club targets.
Drive Personal Trainer revenue and recruit new talent for the site.
Deliver an excellent member experience through service and standards.
Regularly walk the club floor to evaluate facility cleanliness.
Manage the team and foster a high-performance culture.
Drive sales through effective tours and lead-generation activity.
Develop the Assistant Gym Manager and work together to run the club effectively.
Build close working relationships with other Gym Managers in the cluster to strengthen performance across the area.
Ensure club policies and procedures are consistently followed.
