The Guitar Technician (Luthier), also described as a Repair Technician (Guitar), performs maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and helps maintain specified store inventory. Requirements

• Skilled understanding of guitar repair.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and connect with customers in a meaningful way.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
• Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
• Complete warranty repair work.
• Take on additional duties as assigned.
• Work through the Guitar Center certification program to develop a foundational understanding of products and sales techniques.
• Effectively train learners and communicate information and techniques so they are retained.
