About The Position
The Guitar Technician (Luthier) performs maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments and helps maintain specific store inventory. The role supports business growth through quality workmanship and a positive customer experience. Successful technicians are customer-focused, approachable, knowledgeable, and able to address customer service issues; show initiative in identifying and resolving needs; develop product, store operations, sales, and leadership knowledge; work through the Guitar Center certification program; and effectively train and communicate techniques to learners.
Requirements
- Skilled understanding of guitar repair.

Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship.
- Maintain store-owned gear as requested.
- Complete warranty repair work.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
