About The Position

The Guestroom Attendant is an essential member of the housekeeping team, responsible for cleaning and replenishing guest rooms, maintaining supplies, and supporting the Rooms Division in keeping the hotel in sparkling condition. The role involves cleaning a designated number of rooms per shift and maintaining the housekeeping cart. Weekend availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required. The position supports Columbia Hospitality’s commitment to creating exceptional experiences through professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service, while helping maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Requirements

Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays.
Desire to work in a fast-paced role.

Nice To Haves

Prior housekeeping or related cleaning experience.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and chemical applications.

Responsibilities

Provide guests with professional, efficient, prompt, and courteous service.
Clean and maintain all guestrooms to property-specific standards.
Clean and replenish a designated number of rooms within the assigned shift.
Maintain supplies and organization of the housekeeping cart.
Check rooms and report damage, repair needs, or loss of supplies.
Monitor cleanliness of public areas inside and outside the property.
Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions.
Greet and warmly engage guests.
Complete tasks assigned by the Housekeeping Manager and/or General Manager.
