About The Position

The Guest Services Associate welcomes guests and provides hospitality throughout their stay, from registration through checkout. The role includes sharing information about the resort and nearby attractions, providing room-rate quotes, and confirming reservations. Associates process guest transactions, manage cash-handling tasks, ensure guest folios are accurate, and respond promptly and completely to guest inquiries and concerns. This is a seasonal, part-time position with weekends required at Club Wyndham Oceanside Pier Resort.

Requirements

• Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
• Basic computer and office skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide warm, friendly service.
• Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and share information about the resort and local attractions.
• Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
• Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and handle other cashiering and money-handling responsibilities.
• Complete guest check-out procedures and verify charges and credits on guest folios.
• Reserve and confirm individual and group reservations.
• Provide room-rate quotes.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
