About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated Guest Services Agent to join the Front Desk team. The role creates a memorable first impression by welcoming guests, checking them in, sharing information about the hotel, its amenities, and the local area, and providing attentive customer service. The agent helps resolve issues and deliver guest recovery, promotes hotel programs, and works professionally with hotel staff and other departments. This position offers an opportunity to develop a hospitality career.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong desire to make an impact on other people.
Outgoing and engaging personality.
Computer skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide engaging customer service and take a sincere interest in guests.
Check guests in, ensure proper credit is received, note and fulfill special requests, and establish accurate information.
Resolve problems and provide guest recovery when service issues arise.
Promote and sell special hotel programs.
Interact professionally with hotel and resort staff and assist other departments with necessary information.
Know and follow emergency procedures and policies.
Maintain the house bank.
Communicate pertinent information to the manager on duty.
Follow procedures for posting, charges, check cashing, safe deposits, and refunds.
Assist other departments as needed.
