Guest Service Representative - Hampton PT
About The Position
As a Guest Service Representative, you will create an enduring impression for every guest through seamless arrivals, thoughtful departures, attention to detail, and personalized service. You will manage check-ins and check-outs, assist with reservations, anticipate guest needs, and coordinate with hotel departments to support an effortless and memorable stay. The role is based at Hampton Inn & Suites Chicago/Lincolnshire in Lincolnshire, Illinois, and pays $20.00 per hour. The position takes place in a fast-paced hospitality environment and requires extended periods of standing and walking. Occasional lifting may be required, including lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with a hospitality environment.
Nice To Haves
- Hilton brand experience is strongly preferred.
- At least one year of front-office or hospitality experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with professionalism, poise, and authentic hospitality.
- Manage the guest experience, including registration, room assignments, and payment processing.
- Handle guest requests and concerns with discretion, efficiency, and care.
- Collaborate with Housekeeping, Concierge, and Food & Beverage colleagues to ensure cohesive service.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of hotel amenities, local attractions, and Hilton brand standards.
- Uphold Hampton Inn & Suites’ guest service culture through excellence and attention to detail.
