About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Guest Service Representative to join its team. The role is part of an organization focused on hospitality, respect, authenticity, stakeholder needs, and making a positive impact. The representative welcomes guests, supports arrival and check-in procedures, responds to guest needs and inquiries, handles front desk calls and cash according to procedures, and maintains an organized front desk area. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in Front Desk Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations.
• At least a high school education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and focus on personal recognition.
• Review daily arrival lists and help prepare and assemble welcome amenities.
• Escort VIPs to their rooms and check them in before arrival.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings, respond to questions, or transfer calls as needed.
• Manage the issued bank, count it at the beginning and end of each shift, complete cash drops according to cash-handling procedures, and report cash overages or shortages to management.
• Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
• Assist with lobby activation as needed.
• Follow proper procedures when handling guest PPI data.
• Follow checklists during guest check-in and checkout, and retrieve required identification documents and payment upon arrival.
• Attend promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
