About The Position
Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Guest Service Associate for WorldMark Kihei Resort. The associate helps make guests’ vacations memorable by providing a warm welcome and excellent service from registration through checkout. Duties include sharing information about the resort and nearby attractions, quoting room rates, confirming reservations, and responding to guest inquiries and concerns. Requirements
- Professional appearance and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
- Basic math skills and knowledge of proper cash-handling procedures.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer and office skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, warm service.
- Guide guests through registration, issue unit keys, and provide information about the resort and area attractions.
- Process cash and credit card transactions according to established procedures.
- Balance cash receipts, perform bucket checks, and handle other cashiering and money-handling duties.
- Complete checkout procedures and verify that guest folios reflect the correct charges and credits.
- Reserve and confirm individual and group reservations.
- Provide guests with room rate quotes.
- Respond to guest inquiries and concerns as quickly and completely as possible.
