About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a part-time, service-oriented Guest Service Agent to provide a welcoming and attentive experience for hotel guests. The role supports front desk and lobby operations, including greeting guests, assisting with arrivals and departures, handling inquiries, and maintaining an organized front desk. Associates are expected to follow cash-handling and guest-data procedures and contribute to the organization’s hospitality-focused service culture.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience in Front Desk Operations.
• In-depth knowledge of hotel Front Desk operations.
• At least a high school education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exceed the expectations of guests and team members.
• Excellent time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and provide personal recognition.
• Review daily arrival lists and help prepare and assemble welcome amenities.
• Escort VIPs to their rooms and check them in prior to arrival.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings, respond to questions, or transfer calls as needed.
• Manage the issued bank, count it at the beginning and end of each shift, make cash drops according to procedures, and report cash overages or shortages to management.
• Keep the front desk area clean and organized.
• Assist with lobby activation as needed.
• Follow proper procedures when handling guest personally identifiable information.
• Use the check-in and check-out checklist when assisting guests.
• Retrieve required identification documents and payment information upon guest arrival.
• Respond promptly to guest needs and inquiries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
