Guest Room Attendant - Suites
About The Position
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms at Oxford Collection of Hotels by properly and promptly cleaning and sanitizing guestrooms each day. The role also supports guest satisfaction by responding to guest needs, keeping shared areas and housekeeping supplies orderly, reporting maintenance and lost-and-found items, and communicating relevant shift information to colleagues. Duties must be performed in accordance with the company’s service standards, safety and security procedures, and applicable food safety and sanitation requirements. Additional duties may be assigned or changed.
Requirements
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable and consistent attendance.
- Ability to perform frequent simple grasping, fine manipulation, and repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and frequently exert up to 20 pounds of force to push, pull, carry, lift, or otherwise move objects.
- Ability to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, and walk on uneven surfaces occasionally.
- Ability to walk outdoors in varied weather conditions, despite the job being primarily indoors.
- Ability to climb stairs inside and outside, frequently lift 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves

- Housekeeping experience.
Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guestrooms, including preparing housekeeping carts with guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linens.
- Vacuum, dust, mop, change linens, and remove trash and dirty linens.
- Replace bed linens and towels and replenish guest amenities as needed.
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks as required.
- Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply carts daily.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables appropriately.
- Keep hallways, public areas, and closets neat and clean.
- Prepare the cleaning cart for the next day and report guest-borrowed items to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Follow applicable food safety, sanitation, safety, and security requirements, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Report needed maintenance repairs promptly to a supervisor or General Manager.
- Provide attentive customer service, acknowledge and interact with guests, identify and resolve issues, and respond to special requests promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with internal and external guests.
- Report lost-and-found items promptly and follow lost-and-found procedures.
- Communicate effectively with hotel staff and complete a daily activity log with pertinent shift information.
- Follow attendance policies and maintain regular availability for scheduled shifts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
