About The Position

Shaner Hotels is hiring a Guest Room Attendant for the Fairfield Inn & Suites Lebanon, a 90-room hotel in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The role cleans and services assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards, maintaining cleanliness and quality while protecting guest confidentiality and room security. The attendant reports maintenance deficiencies, responds to guest requests and complaints, and follows housekeeping, safety, and security procedures. The position also includes restocking the cart at the end of the shift and completing scheduled deep or seasonal cleaning. A flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, is required.

Requirements

• At least one year of cleaning experience.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers so they understand.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for hotel clientele.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to category priority and established franchise and hotel standards.
• Maintain quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Report maintenance deficiencies.
• Handle guest requests and complaints and help ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain the confidentiality and security of guest rooms.
• Follow house rules, safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
• Return and restock the cart at the end of the shift.
• Complete additional deep-cleaning and seasonal-cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
