About The Position

Shaner Hotels is hiring a Guest Room Attendant for TownePlace Suites by Marriott Hershey. The role is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms according to category priorities and franchise and hotel standards. The attendant maintains quality and cleanliness, reports maintenance deficiencies, responds to guest requests and complaints, and protects the confidentiality and security of guest rooms.

The position also involves following housekeeping, safety, and security procedures; handling cleaning chemicals properly; returning and restocking the cart at the end of the shift; and completing scheduled deep-cleaning or seasonal-cleaning duties. The attendant must be available for a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• At least one year of cleaning experience.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and coworkers so they understand.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for the clientele.

Responsibilities
