GTM Solution Specialist - Healthcare & Life Sciences

CoreWeave•San Francisco, CA
•$177,000 - $237,000

About The Position

CoreWeave is hiring a GTM Solution Specialist focused on Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) to create market opportunities and drive early adoption of its AI cloud among pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, payer, and health-system organizations. The role takes CoreWeave’s AI platform into accounts making infrastructure decisions for foundation-model training, genomics and imaging pipelines, and regulated AI deployment. It also develops repeatable narratives and playbooks to help the broader sales and solution architecture teams scale in the sector. The specialist connects computational science and clinical AI teams with CoreWeave’s product and infrastructure roadmap. They translate customer needs—including petabyte-scale biological data pipelines, regulated workload isolation, and validated environments—into product feedback and commercial strategies. The role covers HCLS AI workloads such as protein structure prediction, generative chemistry, molecular dynamics, genomics and multi-omics, medical imaging, and clinical and operational LLMs. The position engages senior customer stakeholders on GPU cluster architecture, secure AI infrastructure, and production-scale discovery and clinical programs. It shapes large-scale infrastructure deals and strategic partnerships, collaborating with product, infrastructure, and ecosystem teams, including NVIDIA, scientific software ISVs, and data platform providers. The posted base salary range is $177,000–$237,000. Total rewards include a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits, subject to eligibility. The position requires access to export-controlled information, so applicants must meet applicable U.S. export-control eligibility requirements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical business development, solutions architecture, or systems engineering within healthcare, life sciences, or AI infrastructure, with a record of driving customer outcomes and revenue.
  • 5+ years working directly with pharma, biotech, or healthcare organizations on GPU infrastructure, scientific computing, or ML platform architecture in a customer-facing or deal-shaping capacity.
  • Deep understanding of HCLS AI workloads, including protein structure prediction, molecular dynamics, generative chemistry, genomics and multi-omics pipelines, medical imaging, and clinical NLP, and their infrastructure demands.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare and life-sciences regulatory and privacy requirements, including HIPAA, GDPR, GxP and computer system validation, and FDA expectations for AI/ML-enabled products, and their effects on cloud adoption, vendor selection, and deal structure.
  • Proven experience managing the full commercial lifecycle of complex technical deals exceeding $10M in contract value, including multi-stakeholder negotiation, technical due diligence, and deployment planning.
  • Technical proficiency in cloud-native AI infrastructure, including Kubernetes, high-speed storage systems such as NVMe, object storage, and parallel filesystems, and high-performance networking such as InfiniBand and RDMA for large-scale training and scientific computing clusters.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior computational science, engineering, and infrastructure decision-makers at pharma, biotech, and healthcare organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience at or selling into leading HCLS organizations, such as global pharma, techbio and AI-first drug discovery companies, genomics platforms, medical imaging or device leaders, major health systems, or payers.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA’s healthcare and life-sciences ecosystem, including BioNeMo, Parabricks, MONAI, and Clara, at both technical and commercial levels.
  • Background supporting large-scale scientific computing, structure-based drug discovery pipelines, or clinical AI deployment in a validated environment.
  • Advanced technical degree (MS or PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or equivalent) or an MBA with a strong technical foundation in AI/ML systems, and demonstrated ability to work across technical architecture and commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own commercial and technical strategy for net-new HCLS AI customer wins involving foundation-model training, genomics and imaging pipelines, and regulated AI deployment.
  • Drive new business opportunities with pharmaceutical, techbio, biotech, medical device, payer, and health-system organizations.
  • Develop expertise across HCLS AI workloads and apply CoreWeave’s AI platform to support AI-native discovery and clinical AI programs.
  • Translate customer requirements for PHI handling, HIPAA and GDPR compliance, GxP validation, data residency, and model governance into product feedback for the roadmap.
  • Develop deal structures, technical playbooks, and benchmark narratives for opportunities evaluated on training scale, pipeline throughput, and compliance.
  • Engage computational science leaders, AI platform leads, CIOs, and research IT as an expert on GPU cluster architecture, secure AI infrastructure, and production-scale compute decisions.
  • Design commercial frameworks for large-scale HCLS infrastructure deals, including cluster reservation models, capacity commitments, and dataset storage SLAs.
  • Partner with product, infrastructure, and ecosystem teams, including NVIDIA, scientific software ISVs, and data platform providers, to maintain a competitive position across HCLS deployments.
