GTM Solution Specialist - Healthcare & Life Sciences

CoreWeave•San Francisco, NY
•$177,000 - $237,000

About The Position

CoreWeave is seeking a GTM Solution Specialist focused on Healthcare & Life Sciences (HCLS) to develop new market opportunities and drive early adoption of its AI cloud among pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, payer, and health system customers. This market-creation role focuses on winning initial customers building AI-native drug discovery and clinical programs, then developing repeatable narratives and playbooks for the broader sales and solution architecture teams. The specialist connects computational science and clinical AI teams with CoreWeave’s product and infrastructure roadmap. They translate customer needs—including large-scale biological data pipelines, regulated workload isolation, and validated environments—into product feedback and commercial strategies. The role covers HCLS AI workloads such as protein structure prediction, generative chemistry, molecular dynamics, genomics and multi-omics, medical imaging, and clinical and operational LLMs. The position also develops commercial frameworks for large-scale infrastructure agreements and partners with product, infrastructure, and ecosystem teams, including NVIDIA, scientific software providers, and data platform providers. The base salary range is $177,000–$237,000, with discretionary bonus, equity awards, and benefits, subject to eligibility and location.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical business development, solutions architecture, or systems engineering within healthcare, life sciences, or AI infrastructure, with a track record of driving customer outcomes and revenue.
  • 5+ years working directly with pharma, biotech, or healthcare organizations on GPU infrastructure, scientific computing, or ML platform architecture in a customer-facing or deal-shaping capacity.
  • Deep understanding of HCLS AI workloads, including protein structure prediction, molecular dynamics, generative chemistry, genomics and multi-omics pipelines, medical imaging, and clinical NLP, and their infrastructure demands.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare and life sciences regulatory and privacy requirements, including HIPAA, GDPR, GxP and computer system validation, and FDA expectations for AI/ML-enabled products.
  • Experience managing the full commercial lifecycle of complex technical deals exceeding $10M in contract value, including multi-stakeholder negotiation, technical due diligence, and deployment planning.
  • Technical proficiency in cloud-native AI infrastructure, including Kubernetes, high-speed storage systems such as NVMe, object storage and parallel filesystems, and high-performance networking such as InfiniBand and RDMA.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior computational science, engineering, and infrastructure decision-makers at pharma, biotech, and healthcare organizations.
  • Must meet applicable U.S. government export-control eligibility requirements to access export-controlled information.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience at or selling into leading HCLS organizations, such as global pharma companies, techbio and AI-first drug discovery companies, genomics platforms, medical imaging or device leaders, major health systems, or payers.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA’s healthcare and life sciences ecosystem, including BioNeMo, Parabricks, MONAI, and Clara, at both technical and commercial levels.
  • Background supporting large-scale scientific computing, structure-based drug discovery pipelines, or clinical AI deployment in a validated environment.
  • Advanced technical degree (MS or PhD in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or equivalent), or an MBA with a strong technical foundation in AI/ML systems and demonstrated ability to work across technical architecture and commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial and technical strategy for winning new HCLS AI customers.
  • Develop new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies, techbio and biotech firms, medical device makers, payers, and health systems.
  • Build expertise across HCLS AI workloads and apply CoreWeave’s platform to support AI-native discovery and clinical AI programs.
  • Translate customer requirements concerning PHI handling, HIPAA and GDPR compliance, GxP validation, data residency, and model governance into product feedback and roadmap priorities.
  • Develop deal structures, technical playbooks, and benchmark narratives for opportunities evaluated on training scale, pipeline throughput, and compliance posture.
  • Engage with computational science leaders, AI platform leads, CIOs, and research IT teams on GPU cluster architecture, secure AI infrastructure, and production-scale compute decisions.
  • Design commercial frameworks for large-scale HCLS infrastructure deals, including cluster reservation models, capacity commitments, and dataset storage SLAs.
  • Partner with product, infrastructure, and ecosystem teams, including NVIDIA, scientific software ISVs, and data platform providers, to support HCLS deployments.
  • Equip sales and solution architecture teams with HCLS domain knowledge, deal frameworks, and repeatable playbooks.
