Salesforce•Chicago, IL
•$134,750 - $231,980

About The Position

The Lead/Principal Solution Engineer is the technical lead for Salesforce’s most strategic enterprise Life Sciences accounts, guiding complex opportunities and helping pharma and medtech customers rethink how they engage healthcare professionals, support patients, and use data and AI. The role combines hands-on solution architecture and demonstration with executive-level business storytelling. It covers Salesforce Sales, Service, Marketing, Data 360, Agentforce, and Industries (Life Sciences Cloud), as well as the broader Life Sciences technology landscape. The position works with customer architects, IT leaders, QA and Security teams, and internal account teams to shape solutions, account for regulated-industry requirements, and connect technical designs to business outcomes. It also contributes to team capability through mentoring, reusable assets, playbooks, and field insights. Success is measured through technical win rate and pipeline influence, the quality of customer points of view, demonstrations and architecture, team development, and customer and AE satisfaction.
