About The Position

Vercel is seeking a software engineer to join its GTM Engineering team and build AI applications and workflows that drive revenue. The role partners with Sales, Marketing, Success, and Data to identify opportunities and deliver solutions using Vercel’s AI Cloud. The position reports to the Director of GTM Engineering and is remote. Employees within a predetermined commuting distance of the San Francisco, New York, London, or Berlin offices are expected to attend in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday; employees beyond that distance work fully remotely. Location-specific details are available from the recruiting team.

The work includes shipping code daily, identifying user pain points, developing high-impact solutions, translating effective GTM practices into systems, testing new features and providing engineering feedback, and publishing guidance on using Vercel’s AI Cloud.

Vercel describes itself as an agentic infrastructure company. The San Francisco base pay range is $180,000–$295,000; actual salary depends on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. Total compensation may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program, depending on the role.

Requirements

• Have shipped a Next.js app to production with users.
• Have 4+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Be familiar with the Vercel ecosystem.
• Have experience working with AI models and APIs, such as OpenAI, v0 API, or Anthropic.

• Have built an AI agent.

Responsibilities

• Ship code daily using Vercel AI Cloud.

• Collaborate with high-performing GTM teams and turn their best practices into systems for the organization.
• Test new features and provide feedback to engineering.
• Publish best practices and guides for using Vercel AI Cloud.
