About The Position

Syndio is hiring a GTM AI Builder to build and improve the internal products used by Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. The role is positioned as a product-building role for the revenue organization rather than a conventional GTM engineering role focused primarily on funnel operations. The builder identifies real business problems with the people experiencing them, recommends solutions, and evaluates success by whether the resulting tools are adopted and useful. The role uses AI agents as a default building tool, directing them through research, specification, implementation, and validation. It extends an existing foundation of in-house agents already running in production and includes improving those agents and developing new skills, integrations, and autonomous workflows. The work spans the revenue lifecycle, and its impact—including pipeline data, renewal risk, and partner health—is visible to executive leadership. The position builds dashboards, data pipelines, operations applications, marketing tools, sales tools, and partner and customer operations workflows. The builder is expected to validate work against live systems, document what is shipped, and connect each deliverable to the problem it addressed and the people who adopted it.

Requirements

  • Curiosity and willingness to investigate the underlying problem, affected people, and cost before building.
  • Has built at least one agent and one automated workflow that someone used.
  • AI-native or eager to become AI-native, with Claude Code, Cursor, or a comparable agentic tool as a default tool; able to direct agents through research, specification, building, and validation.
  • Product instinct: able to translate business problems into technical solutions and judge work by adoption.
  • Intellectual honesty and ability to validate work and flag gaps rather than use unsupported numbers.
  • Systems thinking across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success; ability to work quickly in ambiguity and document work as it progresses.
  • Low ego, strong opinions, ability to support a case with data, and willingness to commit when a decision goes another way.
  • Ability to finish work and get functional tools live and used.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with n8n.
  • Experience building real internal tools with an AI coding agent and explaining how they were validated.
  • A side project or internal tool currently running in production, with a link available to share.
  • Experience learning from a tool that was not adopted and building differently as a result.
  • Knowledge of when no-code tools such as Zapier or n8n are appropriate and when to write code.
  • Knowledge of HR technology, compensation, or people analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Build dashboards, data pipelines, and operations applications that the revenue team adopts.
  • Use AI agents to build quickly and validate results against live systems.
  • Improve existing revenue-team agents and build new agent skills, integrations, and autonomous workflows with measurable outcomes.
  • Build marketing tools that reveal pipeline drivers and increase Marketing's output.
  • Build internal sales tools for post-call follow-ups, demo environments, research, prospecting and enrichment pipelines, competitive battlecards, and trustworthy pipeline data.
  • Build partner and customer operations workflows, including automated health reports and onboarding, renewal, and expansion workflows.
  • Investigate business problems with the people experiencing them and recommend solutions.
  • Measure whether tools are used and follow up to understand why when they are not adopted.
  • Document shipped work and connect it to the problem solved and the people who adopted it.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation; targeted salary of $125,000–$148,000 per year, with final offers determined by factors such as experience and expertise.
  • Syndio equity.
  • 20 days annually to recharge.
  • Paid sick and safe time.
  • Compassion leave.
  • Voting leave.
  • Additional private medical coverage.
  • Remote-first work within commuting distance of Calgary.
