About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Global Command Center Operator to monitor security operations and identify threats before they escalate. The role requires strong observation, attention to detail, and high-level computer skills. The operator monitors security systems, documents incidents, responds to potential threats, controls access to secure areas, and helps protect people and property. The position is based in Hartford, Connecticut, and is full-time, Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with weekend availability required.

Requirements

Experience working in a command center, SOC, and/or GSOC environment.
Leadership or supervisor experience.
Experience with CCTV software and access control systems.
Valid Connecticut Guard Card license.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Strong report-writing skills.
Strong proficiency with technology.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Monitor security systems using Genetec to detect suspicious activity.
Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
Collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations or emergencies.
Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
Dispatch and effectively use and communicate with radios, phones, alarms, and badge readers.
Interact with sites in multiple countries and states.
