About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is hiring a part-time Group Leader for its before- and after-school program at Monroe Elementary and/or Adams Elementary in Norman, Oklahoma. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 6:30 a.m.–8:00 a.m. and/or 2:30 p.m.–6:00 p.m. The starting pay for candidates with a current CDA certification or Master Teacher qualification is $17.50 per hour. The Group Leader helps implement engaging activities that support children’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. The role involves creating opportunities for children to explore, encouraging creativity and curiosity through interest-based clubs, and fostering positive relationships among staff, children, parents, and the school community. Training is provided.

Requirements

Meet the qualification requirement through one of the following: CDA certification; CCP Credential; 12 credit hours in ECE/CD/SA through CECPD; Oklahoma Certificate of Mastery; or 1,050 hours of training and passing the Master Teachers test.
Provide proof of the applicable certificate where required.
A current CDA certification or Master Teacher qualification is specified for the advertised $17.50 starting hourly rate.
