About The Position

AlphaBEST Education is hiring a part-time Before and After School Group Leader at Crowne Point Academy in Westminster, Colorado. The role supports extended-day programming designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day. Group Leaders guide students through enrichment activities and help create a safe, supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, with an AM shift from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 or 8:30 a.m. and/or a PM shift from 2:00 or 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. AlphaBEST provides training and tools to support employees in developing their leadership skills and making a positive impact with students.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain them.
• Ability to work in a classroom setting involving regular bending and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• At least 460 verifiable hours of experience with children ages 4 and older.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
• Proof of experience as required by Colorado childcare licensing regulations, including verification of hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of students through daily curriculum activities, including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where children feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, children, families, and school staff.
