About The Position

The Group Home Manager supervises a team of Caregivers and supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role combines direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision. The manager facilitates implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and participates in administrative duties such as staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight.

Direct support includes helping individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. The manager also facilitates community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work and other activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related work experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current driver's license.
• Other licensure or certification where required by a regulatory authority.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and individuals served.
• Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.
