About The Position

The Groundskeeper works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to help ensure the community meets appearance and operational standards. The role is responsible for the cleanliness and curb appeal of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, the leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas. The Groundskeeper also assists with preparing vacant apartments for new residents and completing resident service requests as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. The position includes a rotating on-call schedule and responding to after-hours maintenance emergencies when requested. The successful candidate should be willing to learn and assist with basic maintenance work, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and advance into a Maintenance Technician role.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to complete tasks that ensure the community meets appearance and operational standards.
• Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, the leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas.
• Assist in preparing vacant apartments for move-in by new residents.
• Complete resident service requests as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as requested.
• Learn and assist with basic maintenance responsibilities.
