About The Position
Under direct supervision from a supervisor or guidance from higher-level staff, the Groundskeeper 1 performs routine, unskilled grounds maintenance tasks. The role works primarily first shift within Facilities Operations and Development Landscape Services, but shift, hours, days, and/or location may change as operations dictate. The position may require overtime and is subject to 24-hour emergency call-in. Other duties may be assigned. Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One month of experience in grounds maintenance.
- Valid Ohio driver's license.
- Evidence of a satisfactory driving record sufficient for university insurability.
- May be required to fulfill periodic safety requirements prescribed by state and/or federal standards.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check.
