About The Position

Bi-Mart is seeking a hardworking and energetic Grocery Department Manager to build, promote, and deliver a high degree of customer service. The role is part of the Store Team, which works to maintain excellent customer service and friendliness and create a welcoming shopping experience for customers. The manager works closely with store management to build teamwork and pride of ownership within the store. Store hours are 8:00 a.m.–8:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Sunday; hours may vary depending on workload and assignment. The stated pay range is USD $19.30–$20.95 per hour, paid biweekly, with an on-demand payment option.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.
• Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
• Ability to arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
• Ability to set priorities and organize workload.
• Ability to solve problems efficiently and offer solutions to customers.
• Ability to engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Ability to think strategically and lead.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and friendly service to customers.
• Handle customer transactions precisely.
• Ensure sales clerks receive all required breaks.
• Work closely with store management to build teamwork and pride of ownership.
• Replenish inventory.
• Unload trucks properly.
• Help train new employees on department responsibilities.
