About The Position

Bi-Mart is seeking a hardworking and energetic Grocery Department Manager to build, promote, and deliver a high degree of customer service. The role is part of the Store Team, which works to maintain excellent service and friendliness and create a welcoming shopping experience for customers. Daily work includes serving customers promptly and courteously, handling customer transactions accurately, ensuring sales clerks receive required breaks, and working with store management to foster teamwork and pride of ownership. Other responsibilities may include replenishing inventory, unloading trucks correctly, and helping train new employees on department responsibilities. Store hours are 8:00 am–8:00 pm Monday through Saturday and 9:00 am–6:00 pm Sunday; hours may vary with workload and assignment.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a cashier, sales associate, bagger, courtesy clerk, or in another retail position.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
Ability to arrive on time with a positive and friendly attitude.
Ability to set priorities and organize workload.
Ability to solve problems efficiently and offer solutions to customers.
Ability to engage with and assist a variety of individuals.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Capacity to think strategically and lead.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience at retail brands such as Target, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Fred Meyer, Safeway, or Albertsons.
