About The Position
The Grocery Clerk helps maintain an orderly, efficient grocery area and serves customers by providing information about products and helping them locate items. The role calls for a friendly team player who supports store needs and works collaboratively. Duties include stocking and organizing merchandise, receiving deliveries, maintaining clean shelves and aisles, and helping in other areas as needed. The position involves continuously walking and standing throughout the shift while moving around the store and handling merchandise. The clerk must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Physical requirements may be modified to accommodate individuals with disabilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to walk continuously throughout the shift while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
- Ability to stand continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
