About The Position

As a Grocery Clerk at Broulim’s, you will help maintain the appearance and organization of the grocery department. You will stock shelves, rotate products, assist customers, and keep aisles clean so customers can access a wide selection of products and enjoy a pleasant shopping experience. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or grocery store experience is preferred but not required.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.
• Basic knowledge of grocery products and categories.
• Familiarity with stocking procedures and merchandising techniques.

Responsibilities

• Receive grocery deliveries and verify shipment accuracy.
• Stock shelves and displays, arranging and labeling merchandise neatly.
• Rotate products so older items are positioned in front of newer items.
• Help customers locate products, provide information, and answer inquiries.
• Maintain clean grocery aisles by sweeping, mopping, and removing debris.
• Monitor inventory and notify management about low stock or damaged items.
• Assist with inventory counts and restocking during off-peak hours.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
