About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining proper methods of product handling, case cutting, price marking, rotation, and display of merchandise. The role involves achieving and maintaining established cases per man-hour, managing inventory control, and ensuring all company policies and directives are followed. Additionally, the Grocery Clerk must ensure timely and accurate price changes and maintain adequate department records.

Requirements

Minimum age: 18 Years
Weekend shifts are required (Sundays as applicable)
Regularly required to grasp, push, pull, carry, stoop, twist, crouch, and reach
Perform tasks requiring repetitive motion and eye, hand and foot coordination
Hear and respond to customer inquiries
Standing, walking and bending throughout the entire workday
Ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 40 pounds from location to location

Responsibilities

Maintain proper methods of product handling, case cutting, price marking, rotation and display of merchandise
Achieve and maintain established cases per man-hour
Maintain a well-stocked store through an effective control of inventory in line with established guidelines
Follow through and achieve all company policies, programs and directives that apply to stocking operations
Ensure that all price changes are completed on time, legible, accurate, and meet company policies
Maintain adequate and appropriate department records at all times
