About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Grill Cook for their Bistro Dietary department in the NEW TOWER. This is a part-time position with rotating weekend shifts, working from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The role involves overseeing and supporting the preparation and production of food for patient and guest meals, ensuring department goals are met. The cook will follow standardized recipes, daily production charts, and instructions, ensuring food meets quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature, and timeliness requirements. Adherence to HACCP procedures and appropriate use of standard food preparation equipment, utensils, and measuring devices are essential. The estimated pay range for this position is $18.69 - $23.74 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
- Knowledge in principles of sanitation and safety in food handling and equipment.
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 3 Years of experience required
- Grill, sauté, and short order cook experience in restaurant setting required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of trade school or vocational schooling preferred.
- Food Safety Certification required within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
