Transporter Weekends Only 10:30a-11p
About The Position
The Transporter is responsible for the timely, courteous, and competent transportation of patients throughout Baptist Health Floyd using a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. The role also transports specimens, equipment and supplies, messages, and parcels as designated. The Transporter performs other support services as needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors, and hospital staff. This is a part-time position working 48 hours biweekly, every weekend, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Weekend hours receive premium pay. The position is with Baptist Health Floyd in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area.
Requirements
- BLS certification from an approved BLS course is required; training will be provided.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
