Transporter Weekends Only
About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a part-time Transporter to work weekends only, 48 hours biweekly, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The role is responsible for timely, courteous, and competent transportation of patients throughout the facility by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. The Transporter also moves specimens, equipment and supplies, messages, and parcels as designated, and performs other support services functions as needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors, and hospital staff. The position offers premium pay for weekend hours and is based at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana, in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area.
Requirements
- BLS certification from an approved BLS course is required; training will be provided.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
