Transporter Weekends Only
About The Position
The Transporter is responsible for timely, courteous, and competent transportation of patients throughout the Baptist Health Floyd facility using a wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. The role also transports specimens, equipment and supplies, messages, and parcels as designated. The Transporter performs other support services as needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors, and hospital staff. This is a part-time position of 48 hours biweekly, working weekends only from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The position is at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana, in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area.
Requirements
- BLS certification from an approved BLS course is required; training will be provided.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
